Is Butch Jones Leaving the Chippewas Again?

Shortly before I started this blog, there was news flying around about Central Michigan Football Coach Butch Jones. There were rumours that he was being considered for the Head Coach position at the Univeristy of West Virginia where he was the wide receiver coach from 2005-2006. I decided not to post anything on it but now rumours are starting to look more like reality. He had his second interview Thursday just one day after losing to Purdue in the Motor City Bowl. The Central Michigan football coach led the Chippewas to a 8-6 record and their second straight MAC Championship though they did not win the Motor City Bowl, I know that they impressed a lot of people.

According to most sources, Florida State Assistant Coach Doc Holliday is the favorite to win the head coaching position. Former Auburn Coach Terry Bowden is also being considered for the position.
